The seven pages of flower and (or) bird pictures shown in this gallery were included in a 1902 picture book entitled Ginkō Manga (i.e., Sketches by Ginkō). Click on a picture to enlarge it. While the book’s title suggests that pictures were preliminary drawings (i.e., sketches), the flower-bird pictures were much more than that. They were similar to the finished drawings of flowers and (or) birds that Ginkō included in his other picture books. To see a gallery with larger pictures click here.
